Where ships were built and engines bolted together, Zurich West is now a quarter of art, design and food, in Zurich Tourism’s words: shops and a market hall under the viaduct arches, Frau Gerolds Garten and the Freitag Tower by the Hardbrücke, the 126-metre Prime Tower, and contemporary art at the Löwenbräukunst.
