The Kunsthaus Zürich, on the Heimplatz, shows art from the 13th century to today in two buildings, the Moser building and David Chipperfield’s extension, opened in 2021, linked by an underground passage. It holds the largest collection of Munch paintings outside Norway, Swiss artists from Giacometti to Fischli/Weiss, Picasso, van Gogh and Chagall, and late-20th-century works by Warhol, Rothko and Beuys. Tuesday to Sunday 10:00–18:00, Thursday until 20:00; closed Mondays.
