The first FREITAG bag was made in 1993 in an apartment near the Hardbrücke, from recycled truck tarpaulins. The flagship store in the Freitag Tower, at Geroldstrasse 17, sells more than 1,800 one-of-a-kind products over four floors, with a repair kiosk next door; closed on Sundays.
