About Café & Conditorei 1842
The Café & Conditorei 1842, at Napfgasse 4 in the Niederdorf, takes its name from the year the baker Johann Georg Eberle founded it. On four floors it serves patisserie, cakes, a legendary hot drinking chocolate in Zurich Tourism’s words, and coffee; the neo-baroque shop is on the ground floor. It belongs to the Stiftung Arbeitskette.
