About Swiss National Museum (Landesmuseum Zürich)
The Swiss National Museum, at Museumstrasse 2 beside the main station, fills Gustav Gull’s historicist building and a modern new wing; Zurich Tourism calls it the most frequently visited museum of cultural history in Switzerland. Its permanent exhibition tells Switzerland’s history, and “Simply Zurich”, on the upper floor, is free. Tuesday to Sunday 10:00–17:00; closed on Mondays.
